I always support the British Heart Foundation - they do amazing work and without them lots of people wouldn't be here today.  From new born babies to great granddads, their research has helped saved millions of lives and with support from events like this will continue to do so in the future.

I lost my dad to heart failure, but not before he received 2 transplants that prolonged his life for an extra 10 years - without The British Heart Foundation this would not have been possible so I'm hoping to raise as much as I can in his memory.  

But aside from the sentiment... I will be unable to sit down for a week afterwards and I look like a complete prat in my helmet and I may well cry so my humiliation alone should be enough to get cash from some of you...Brighton here I come!
