At the end of last year a very special lady in my my life lost her battle with cancer and during her fight she spent time in the Phyllis Tuckwell hospice in Farnham.  Shelia spent all her adult life caring for others as a nurse and she deserved to be in the best place when she needed caring for.  My family and I visited her there on a number of occasions and it was such an amazing place where everyone, patients and visitors were made to feel so welcome and cared for.  It was the first time in my life that I had been anywhere like it and it touched my heart like nothing had before. Although I would love to, my circumstances don't allow me to volunteer my time for the charity so this is my way of contributing to an amazing cause so that others can benefit in the way our dear Shelia did.
