Story
Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page. On Saturday 22 April, me and my twin will be taking part in the Shone Building Big Walk to support motor neuron disease (MND) research being carried out at the Sheffield Institute for Translational Neuroscience at the University of Sheffield.
MND is a terminal condition and in the UK alone, 1 in every 300 people will develop MND in their lifetime. Researchers around the world are working tirelessly to find new effective treatments and a cure for the disease. SITraN is one of the world leading centres for research into MND. I recently started my PhD at SITraN and I am lucky to work with such amazing and compassionate colleagues. Working in MND research has given me a first-hand insight into the challenges that people living with MND and their family members experience. This is why I am helping to fundraise for SITraN so we can improve the lives of people living with MND.
Any donations are appreciated to help reach my fundraising goal! The fight against MND will not end until a cure has been found. By making a gift today you will help support future research into MND.
Thank you and best wishes
