Story
For the last couple of years I’ve felt that I’ve wanted to do something that’s really going to challenge me, to push me out of my comfort zone. Whether it was feeling out of control and confined during lockdown, or just a general feeling of getting older and wanting to do something before I’m completely past it, I’m not sure! So, encouraged by a couple of G&T‘s and a sense of adventure I booked a trip - in October me and Noah are off to Morocco to climb Mount Toubkal. At 4,167 meters, it is the highest peak in the Atlas Mountains and the highest summit in North Africa, and will take us 4 days to reach the top!
We’ve joined a gym and been training (I’m even booked on spin classes, which is possibly more scary than the climb!) but we need your help!
We would love it if you could encourage us further by sponsoring us! We are raising money for Mayfield SEN School who are saving to buy a new mini bus. Mayfield is a specialist school providing education and respite care for children with additional needs between the ages of 3 and 19. My beautiful great niece and Noah’s cousin is a pupil there and receives amazing support from the dedicated staff. The minibus will help them provide transport to and from the school and on trips out.
