Story
Having been ‘lucky’ enough to have a ballot place in the 2023 London Marathon - I have been quietly plodding the London pavements. Probably not as much as I should have done! I am hoping its enough to make it round somehow. The photo above is from my 2016 marathon.
On my last long run I realised that having the opportunity to raise money was a great privilege and I shouldn’t waste it. At mile 18 I ran past someone who was evidently under medical treatment walking with her Children and it really inspired me and made me realised how completely lucky I was to be out there running. (This is alongside the sweating, swearing and general pain I was also thinking about).
Then I watched the inspiring story of Emma Bishop running for the Royal Marsden -

So its my honour and yours, if you would like to support this wonderful charity by making a donation. Our support enables the charity to support others and us, our friends and family should sadly we or they ever need.
See you on the other side or somewhere around london if you fancy giving me and the many other runners a cheer on Sunday!
