We provide social support to Scotland's Cystic Fibrosis Community
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have decided to do a sponsored walk i am going to start in Glenfarg and walk to Perth works out at about 10 miles. This charity is close to my heart as I met my best friend when I was 11 she is called Lorna she has Cystic Fibrosis I have seen over the years just how much this affects her everyday life although you would not know it because she always has a smile on her face. CF is a disorder of the cells that line the lungs, small intestines, sweat glands and pancreas. The thick mucus that builds in the lungs make it difficult to breathe which is why the title for this just giving page is fighting for every breath on average a person with CF will live to "41" for me that is not acceptable in this day and age.. I would like to raise some pennies to help researchers find a cure so I can go ahead and book me & my best friend Lorna into a nursing home for when we are older where we can race our zimmer frames. Serious note I can't imagine a world without her in it, ever..., people say when you meet the love of your life they are your soul mate that's not always the case I met my soul mate when I was 11 & she is my best friend.
