Story
My name is David, Lucas' dad, and for over 3 years my son has been fighting an anaplastic ependymoma grade 3. He is only 4 and now his tumour is no longer curable. He may probably have less than a year of life. He has gone through 3 major brain surgeries, 13 months chemotherapy treatment and proton beam therapy. Unfortunately, it has not worked out. That's why I know what my mission in life is, campaigning to get more funding into brain tumours research. It is the only thing I can do for my son. So, I am running the Chapelton of Elsick 10K next Sunday 17th July and I hope to raise as much as possible.
None of this money is four ourselves, everything will go directly into the Brain Tumour Charity.
The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally.
