We use music, clowning, magic and dance to give the gift of laughter to lonely kids

Story

I wasn't going to run it for Charity, but then my mum reminded of me of the great work that Flying Seagulls do, bringing laughter to children in the most vulnerable of circumstances.

They work as Clown Doctors to help bring some much needed happiness to children going through operations. They put on shows for refugees and allow children to feel like children giving them a release from the traumatic situation they are facing.

We've seen and worked closely with The Flying Seagulls. They pour their hearts and soul into it and if the stars aligned for me I would love to go off and be a flying seagull myself one year.

But for now I would love to do my bit and send a good contribution their way. I don't think I've ever done much charity fundraising as an adult so although I have left it late. I am going to push for a big quick fund raising session and lets see how much money we can send.

Thanks my lovelies!

About the charity

We believe that it is everyone’s right to put aside the cares of life and smile for a while. We work with marginalised groups to bring smiles and laughter, whether as Clown Doctors for children undergoing difficult medical treatments or through arts, music and crafts workshops and shows.
