Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

In 2019 Lucas, Esme and Leia lost their Uncle Andy to brain cancer.

He was 42 at the time.

Inspired by his Uncle Andy's Dad (Grumps) who cycled 200 miles coast to coast to raise money for Brain Tumour Research, Lucas decided that he wants to run, cycle and walk 42 miles during the month of August in memory of his Uncle Andy and to help in the fight against brain cancer.

His sisters Esme and Leia, along with Mum and Dad, will join in while Lucas ticks off his mileage throughout the month.

Please support if you can, either by donating or keeping an eye out for Lucas in his pink Brain Tumour Research t shirt around Whitley Bay, Anglesey and Dorset over the next 31 days and offering a bit of encouragement.

Thank you
