My partner Paul and I are raising money for 2 separate charities-
I am taking part in an organised Sky Dive on June 16th, called Fall For Hounds to raise money for THE RETIRED GREYHOUND TRUST.
This fundraising event coordinated by Julie Collier with all the proceeds going to the RGT. Everyone who participates will be jumping from a light aircraft 13,000 feet high - that's 2 miles and a 50 second free fall! Plummeting towards the ground at over 120 mph is sure to get their heart racing!As Paul is too heavy to officially take part in the Fall For Hounds Sky Dive (Weight Limit is 16st) - he as decided to go on a diet to help with the fund raising. He would also like to raise money for CANCER RESEARCH, as his father died of lung cancer a few years ago.
He starts his diet on Monday 28th April for 6 weeks and aims to lose 21lb (1 & 1/2 stone) in those 42 days, which takes in the duration of the Greyhound Derby.
