Story

We are going to be walking for the CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) ‘lost hours walk’ on Saturday 12th November at 10am. The route will begin and end at Rosebery Hall, going each and every LSE hall, totalling 21km!

The last few years have been especially tough on us all and we’re coming together to walk and talk about mental health, raising money for a good cause at the same time!

Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is leading a movement against suicide. Every week 125 people in the UK take their own lives. And 75% of all UK suicides are male. CALM exists to change this by offering life saving services, provoking conversation and bringing people together to reject living miserably. From advice on our site, through to free, confidential chats with our helpline staff, online or on the phone, we’re here for whoever needs us, every day. No matter what. £8 is enough to fund one potentially life-saving call.

About the charity

We’re the Campaign Against Living Miserably and we’re taking a stand against suicide. That means standing against feeling hopeless, standing up to stereotypes and showing life is always worth living.125 lives are lost every week to suicide. 75% of all UK suicides are male. We exist to change this.
