We’re here for the cure. Cure Parkinson’s is working with urgency to find new treatments to slow, stop and reverse Parkinson’s.

Story

Littlehampton Swimming Club is taking part in a Channel relay swim to raise money for Cure Parkinson’s

Our fantastic squad members will each swim lengths of our 25m pool at The Wave, Littlehampton which will equate to swimming 34km!!

You can show your support for by donating anything that you can afford via the Just Giving Page.

The idea is the brainchild of one of Masters Swimmers,  Peter who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2017

Peter tells us that..

“Swimming is one of the best all round exercises and exercise plays an increasingly important part in the life of people with Parkinson’s and the aim of the Challenge is to encourage people to get back into the pool after lockdown and exercise, whilst raising funds for the charity Cure Parkinson’s.”

Cure Parkinson's are here for the cure. Cure Parkinson’s is working with urgency to find new treatments to slow, stop and reverse Parkinson’s.Their funding and innovation has redefined the field of Parkinson’s research, enabling the world’s leading researchers to prioritise the next generation of drugs for clinical trial. Together we will conquer Parkinson’s.
