Story
I am fundraising for Rugby Against Cancer to help those in the Rugby Community affected by a cancer diagnosis. Not only am I am active participant in the rugby community, but my family has also been personally affected by cancer.
HARNESSING THE POWER OF THE RUGBY COMMUNITY
TO ENHANCE THE LIVES OF THOSE WITH CANCER
I truly believe that the rugby community can be a force for good, and rugby against cancer is a charity which uses the close knit rugby community, and its values of hard work and comradeship, to fundraise for and to help those in the rugby community affected by cancer.
Having been a part of rugby against cancers fundraising efforts previously, and hearing of the amazing work they do to support those affected by cancer, this charity is a worthy recipient of how ever much you can afford to donate
The challenge - the three peaks challenge is to climb The three highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales - Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon, all in 24 hours. Starting 7am 25th September
Date changed to 23rd April due to sustaining an injury!
The challenge will certainly not be a walk in the park, it will be a real slog - so please donate if you can, so at least my blood sweat and tears are in the pursuit of something other than a purely personal achievement.
