I have entered this event for a few reasons..  

Firstly and most importanty is to help  the charity Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research who are the only UK charity soley dedicated to research into blood cancer.   please visit their site... http://leukaemialymphomaresearch.org.uk/

Secondly is for personal reasons .  I decided to get fitter  and wanted a challenge.  First step was (after a good many years as you know)...  "deciding not to smoke" , second step was to do something worthwhile with my new found energy..  I love cycling so this race was perfect.  So this year 27 miles, next year London to Brighton and after that .....  Bradley Wiggins, Mark Cavendish watch out!
