Story
Hi, thanks for visiting my page (its only little old me!)
I haven't done a charity challenge for a while and this seems to the right time because of everything that is happening in the world.
So at the beginning of September I will be swimming during my training sessions, the equivalent to the distance of the English Channel. This is 21 miles/ 33796.2 metres which equals 1352 lengths (in a 25m pool).
RSPCA, in my eyes have always done a fantastic job. It hurts each time I hear about mistreatment of animals and again through the pandemic I worry about the amount of animals that have needed help. I would like to fundraise £250 for the wonderful work to continue that RSPCA do and enable them to help even more.
My dog was a rescue and I have had others (and know others) who have been in the same situation. These animals are helpless and its unfair to know and to turn a blind eye to the mistreatment. If you can't cope with an animal, don't abandon or mistreat, seek help - for theirs and your own sanity.
Anything you give can help, and if you can't give at this unusual time please help me raise awareness for the work both these charities do and who they effect!
