Story

We’re taking the Tandemic on a ride from London to Brighton to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society. This charity is especially close to home as my dad was diagnosed with dementia three years ago. He’s been in a care home since the start of lockdown and we’ve hardly seen him but finally we can go and visit regularly.

My dad taught me to ride a bike many years ago. It’s a skill I only really started using in the last year but I’m sure he’ll be pleased I’ve finally gotten rid of the stabilisers. He also tried to teach me to drive when I was 17 but that skill still eludes me!

The link is below if you are able to donate. All donations are hugely appreciated.

Thank you to everyone that has donated so far. We are so close to our target of £1500 and appreciate every single donation.

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
