We are running the Race for Life in memory of my beautiful Mum who sadly passed away on 16th March 2019. 

My Mum had been battling cancer for 7 years and she put up a fight to the very end. Despite getting knocked down many of times she always got up 10 times stronger. She did it with a smile on her face and a spring in her step and never let it bring her down. Always putting people before herself and thinking of others, I was amazed how she could even get out of bed in the morning, but she did it and was determined it wouldn’t be stopping her, even on days where she was at her lowest and very poorly, she still did it 💪🏼

The money we will raise is going to the Bury Cancer Support Centre where my Mum spent a lot of her time and made lots of friends. My Mum even said she would have liked to go into being a suport worker as she helped so many people from the centre with their illness, despite what she was going through.
