I have signed up to the Heart vs Lung Challenge 2022. This is a team effort. I of course am part of #TeamHeart. Around the World in 30 days - 23,000 miles. As many of you will know I have been a patient at Royal Brompton since 2017 where I have received pioneering treatment . So naturally I wanted to give a little something back.
This year Heart vs Lungs is raising funds for our Next Generation Genetics appeal, which will equip the hospitals genetics and genomics team with a brand-new sequencer. This will help the hospitals save lives by diagnosing patients with inherited heart and lung conditions, so they can get the treatment they need sooner.
