London Olympic Weightlifting Academy (LOWA) Coach Luke Doran's son Nino was born with Transposition of the Great Arteries, a rare congenital heart defect. Thanks to the incredible team at The Royal Brompton Hospital and charity The Brompton Fountain, Nino is now a healthy, happy baby.
Luke, his wife Kate and the LOWA team are running a fundraiser at LOWA to support this fantastic cause and to help change the future for hundreds of other children like Nino. The day will consist of:
The LOWA Power Weightlifting Competition
This will be a fun power-focused weightlifting competition spread across three events:
Weigh-In will be at 10am and the first event will start at 1030am. Competitors will be tasked with setting a 1RM in each event. Results will be based on Sinclair & Malone points. There will be a male and female winner for each individual event and overall male & female winners for most weight lifted across all three events.

You don't have to compete to help support this fantastic cause. Spectators are very welcome to eat treats and help to cheer on our competitors.
