Story
The impacts of climate change are heavily felt on Essex's stunning 350 mile long coastline.
Its internationally important saltmarsh habitats protect our coastal communities from storm surges, and saltmarsh stores carbon at an even faster rate than woodland. But they are retreating at 100 hectacres per year. Nature needs our help.
Throughout August, Lindsay and Martin will walk a total of 35 miles exploring the Essex Coast. These walks will be documented and photographed, so you can read about them on Love Wild Walks - lovewildwalks.com.
Help us celebrate and protect the Essex coast by supporting our challenge and donating to Essex Wildlife Trust.
