Story
Last year I was blessed with the opportunity to visit our brothers and sisters in Palestine and provide lifesaving aid. This year I have made a promise to support them again, I will again be going to Palestine, virtually by providing food packs, water, medical care and education.
Millions of lives have been affected by the ongoing conflict in Palestine.

COVID RESPONSE
As of now, there have been hundreds of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Palestine - and with areas like Gaza and the West Bank being some of the most overcrowded places on the planet, the virus could spread like wildfire. Penny Appeal are on the ground right now providing lifesaving aid.
PROVIDING WATER
1.5 million people in Palestine
have very little access, or no access at all, to water and sanitation.
You can help them by donating to our Palestine
appeal and helping provide clean, safe water for schools, orphanages, hospitals
and the homes of those most vulnerable.
EDUCATION
Many children in Palestine don't go to school.
Existing schools are already over-subscribed and children are being turned away
from learning on a daily basis, due to lack of space.
School fees are extremely high, so orphans and
children living in poverty have limited prospects to succeed. In Gaza, we
support a school with over 700 students.
Al Makassed Hospital
More than ever, the people of Palestine need
quality medical care. But 17 hospitals, 56 primary healthcare facilities, and 45 ambulances have been destroyed in Gaza alone, and damaged, destroyed and vacant healthcare facilities are littered across Palestine.
Penny Appeal are supporting the Makassed Islamic
Charitable Hospital in East Jerusalem, which is the largest Palestinian non-profit, non-governmental organisation.
Founded in 1968, Makassed was a small community
hospital, with minimal departments and a very limited number of beds. From its humble beginnings, Makassed has grown into the leading medical centre in
Palestine, equipped with 256 beds and 13 different wards.
The Makassed Hospital is also the only Palestinian healthcare facility providing access to a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, which Penny Appeal are helping to expand, so that more premature babies have a fighting chance of survival.
PROVIDING FOOD
With most the Palestinian population living below the poverty line, food is an essential item needed for day to day life. Help us provide iftar and food packs for the most needy.
