Story
ATTENTION ALL LOVECHICKENS
The time has come for all Lovechickens from all over the world to stand up proud and show what your really made of!
A small group of elite special forces Lovechickens consisting of Euron Champers LC4, Ferg LC1/2, Phil 'Chief Wiggum' Kite LC37, Pete'The Meat' Farrell LC13, and with luck Snakey LC45 have decided to do something useful for a change.
Instead of going out drinking, talking to very pretty women and watching rugby; we are going to raise as much money as we can for a very worthy cause!! Namely, the National Deaf Children's Society.
In return for all donations received, this highly trained and supremely fit band of Lovechickens are going to drag themselves up and down the three highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales and all within 24 hours!!
Our target is to raise a total of £5000 for the National Deaf Childrens Society.
Heres a little about our chosen charity:
The National Deaf Children's Society is the only UK charity solely dedicated to the support of all deaf children and young deaf people, their families and professionals working with them.
There are 35,000 deaf children in the UK and two more are born deaf every day.
- 90% are born to hearing parents with little experience of deafness
- deafness makes it harder for children to learn to communicate
- many families face challenges in establishing good communication with their deaf child
- 40% of deaf children also have additional needs or disabilities
- one in five children gets glue ear which causes temporary deafness
So!! Please dig deep and sponsor me online if you can give £1.00 to £100 or £5 to £5000, every penny will be thankfully received, appreciated and put to very good use.
Any Lovechickens found not donating at least a kidney, thats at least £10 will be severely battered around the head and body and named and shamed on the Lovechickens RFC blog.
