EBOLA ORPHANS FUND RAISER
JANUARY 15th

MERCHANTS RESTAURANT OCEAN VILLAGE  SOUTHAMPTON

The event is in aid of the Ebola orphans left in the wake of the epidemic in West Africa.

This particular crisis has it's roots not in war or Government corruption but in a virus that is indiscriminate and has decimated families.

Many of the children orphaned have no living relatives left in their immediate family and attempting to locate distant members is proving difficult.
The charity I'm supporting is the St George Foundation. They are a UK charity based in Southampton with 11 years experience of  working in Sierra Leone.
Their passionate and courageous staff are experienced with child welfare, counseling, family tracing and caring for children on a daily basis.
Their current focus is on rescuing orphaned children, assisting with their recuperation and counseling while staff trace and train relatives or foster parents to help get them back into the community.

On the 15th January there will be a few live music acts, buffet and I will be having my dreadlocks (that I've had for  20 years) cut off.

I would really appreciate it if you can make it along but if that's not possible any small donation that would be fantastic!
