Marathon completed, 4 hours and three minutes. Very happy with my time considering the conditions were absolutely horrendous. Thank you so much to everyone who helped me raise my target and complete the run.

To put bluntly: unless action is taken immediately, there will be no Venice for future generations. Having studied the culturally rich city for five years I now realise how important it is that we start making changes now to avoid the literal subsidence of the treasures contained in the city into the sea.
