Event: Peak District Ultra Challenge 2023, from 8 July 2023 to 9 July 2023
Brain tumours do not care if you are a daughter, a grandfather, or even a child. They do not discriminate and they can strike at any time. We have to fix this!

Story

I work in the recruitment team at Wickes and our chosen charity partner is The Brain Tumour Charity. We want to do our bit by raising funds and will be doing the Peak District Challenge, Bakewell to Bakewell on the 8th July.

We will take on the 25 KM looped route starting & finishing at our Bakewell basecamp, taking in the best of the Derwent Valley Herritage Way and Combs Dale.

The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, they are moving further, faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour.

They are set on finding new treatments, offering the highest level of support and driving urgent change. And we're doing it right now. Because they understand that when you, or someone you love, is diagnosed with a brain tumour a cure really can't wait.
