Story
Hey There happy people
Most of you said i was mad the others probably didn't believe me when i said i wanted to run the London Marathon but its official i'm in.
On the 21st April 2007 I lost my Dad after a 4 year battle with Cancer. I want to run this as a dedication to him as i know if he was here now he would be the crazy person right next to me. I also want to run this for anyone who has ever lost a parent or anyone else close to them to cancer, I want to make sure that no one else will ever have to go through what me and my family have done.
UPDATE 19th March 2008
After a year of training, many moments of wearing myself down to the point im ill. one damaged ankle one torn muscles in the calf (7 weeks and still there) it is almost time for the marathon
even if i have to craw from start to finish i will be there 13th April on the starting line. not for my own personal glory running at record breaking speeds just for charity (The Association for International Cancer Research) and in memory of my dad who lost his life to cancer almost a year ago
so all i ask is that you support this worthwhile cause and sponsor me
now here's the important stuff....
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Association for International Cancer Research will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.
Louise (always will be WeezyKid)
