This is my first ever marathon, and after only taking up running a couple of years ago, it is a massive challenge for me! Especially as it looks like I will be running with my knee taped up!  

My dad has been a direct beneficiary of the innovation and development of medical technology such as that funded by the BHF, as well as receiving rehabilitation and support provided by the BHF.

The BHF also funded my PhD, so I feel like it's time to pay them back!
