Story

Thanks for supporting my fundraising in memory of my mum and many friends who have battled or are still battling. As most of you know my mum lost her very short battle with an aggressive form of cancer, well next year it will be 30 years it’s actually so hard to believe as in some ways it seems like yesterday and the pain is still raw. I had the idea to do a few things to raise some money and mark the occasion in a helpful way rather than sad. Then a lovely group of friends shared the idea of doing this for their own personal reasons so here we are…. It’s going to be 26. 2 miles of hardcore walking but it will be nothing in comparison with the battles some go through so please give what you can to support me on my way with step one. Macmillan nurses helped my mum along with my awesome sister and I’ve never had the opportunity to thank them properly until now!
