For those of you who don't know, I lost my Nan to cancer in 2009. She was a wonderful person and an inspiration to me. For this reason and in her honour I will be taking part in Race for Life again this year. I am doing this as I want to help anyone else suffering the way my Nan did. Cancer is a terrible disease that eats away at people, its horrible for the person suffering but also for the family and friends watching the strong people they once knew fade away in front of them.
