Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 26th May 4 years ago Olivia's grandad, Rob, lost his battle with cancer, aged 62. Olivia has asked that I run the Edinburgh Marathon in his memory and to support the wonderful work of the Bridge Clinic at St James Hospital Leeds, part funded by Macmillan. Both Olivia's grandparents, Rob and Sue, have needed radiotherapy and Sue understands the importance of the work the Bridge Clinic do for radiotherapy patients and their families. The Clinic provides the opportunity for informal help and advice as well as support for patients, their family, friends and carers. Sue now works as a volunteer at Bridge Clinic and sees the wonderful work that it does. Many of you will have been touched by cancer and any support you can give to this vital service will be very much appreciated by not only my family but all those who need the clinic. Although I am running a gruelling 26 miles, Olivia is doing her bit too by fundraising at school and doing a 24hr relay! Please offer your support for the Bridge Clinic Trust Fund.
