My husband and I are going to run the 10K in inverness in memory of my amazing sister Jacqu. During Jacqu's time at The Beatson the staff were the most friendly and kindest people we had ever met, always happy to help with any situation and alway keeping everyones spirits up. During Jacqu's time in The Beatson, the friends of the beatson offered her massages and other beauty treatments. Which offered some light relief from time to time. But as this charity is not funded by the government. It relies heavily on donations to allow them to keep on doing what they are doing. And that is why we are taking part in this 10K. So as we can give a little back and to say a huge thank you to all the staff which helped my family during this hard   time.  Also while Jacqu was in hospital she got married to her husband and soul mate Jackie. The staff once again pulled out all the stops to make Jacqu and Jackies big day perfect. By offering to do Jacqu's hair and make up for the wedding, and making the room look amazing with flowers and banners. Any donation no matter how small would be greatly appreciated. Not just by us but also by patients at friends of the beatson.
