I'm Louise Bell and I'm 26. I went through a traumatic experience last October in 2017 which was an Ectopic Pregnancy due to this I lost my right fallopian tube. I'm raising money for more awareness and to give back to the charity that helped me through a difficult time
Babyloss week is 9th-15th october
If my family and friends could support this cause it would mean a great deal. Help turn the UK pink and blue :-) #BLAW2018
Their is also a wave of light on the 15th October at 7pm #WaveOfLight
I will be doing walks and bike rides to help raise the money. I'll keep everyone updated in what I've done. Ive set myself up to do the #ept1000 which is taking part in either doing 1000km or 1000miles.
Here's my story:
For people who know me many of you know what me and Enio went through last year and there is many of you that don't know. A year on and ive decided to share my story.
We found out we were expecting a child on the 28th September we were overjoyed but we didn't know what was to come.
I started bleeding and was told it was a possible misscarriage :-(
The 5th October came and something wasn't quite right I was then told I had a UTI from CHOC doc.
On the 6th October I was rushed into hospital and later on the night we found out that I was having an ectopic pregnancy and there wasn't anything anyone could do so unfortunately on the 7th October I had my right tube removed as my tube was rupturing they couldnt save my tube. An ectopic pregnancy is life threatening. 1 in 80 pregnancies are ectopic.
You plan so much when you find out your pregnant and seeing them 2 lines on the stick. No one understands how much this can effect you. Its affected my mental health, my confidence in myself as i started putting weight on. I felt like a failure as a women, gf and a mother as i could'nt protect my baby. Having scars on my stomach was hard at first but ive learnt to love them now.
Without the support from Enio and my family i wouldn't of been able to cope and it's still very difficult to this day.
So I want to give something back to the charity that helped me over the year. Thank you for reading and please donate I'd appreciate it.
