On 18th September 2013, my beautiful friend Lisa, lost her battle with cancer. Lisa was a true inspiration throughout her life, and particularly throughout her illness. She remained positive, strong and brave to the end, and her gorgeous personality was evident at all times.
Lisa ran the London Marathon in April 2012 shortly before being diagnosed. I feel proud to be taking part in the same event in Lisa's memory, and to be raising money for Tenovus, which does so much to support those affected by cancer, in the process.
