Story
Last week I was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer. I thought it was IBS. It’s early days and we are all in shock. The waiting for scan dates is agony - I should have them by 26th May, and God willing it will be soon. I’m taking part in this walk to do something positive, to take a little bit of control.
We haven’t set a date in June yet to do the walk, but we will do it before the end. I will be walking hand in hand with my husband Andrew around the lanes and byways of rural Herefordshire. We will be wearing the tee shirts, we will be together. We will be smiling through the tears.
