A big THANK YOU to everyone for their support.  The run went well and spurred on by all the kind donations I managed to get round in 29 mins.  It was actually a really fun evening and there was a great atmosphere.  Lots of us ran so the donations really did add up.  So thank you everyone x 

 

In the shadow of the London Marathon I was reluctant to ask anyone for sponsorship for the 5k Race For Life run around Battersea Park next week.

However, as you all know 5k will be no 'walk in the park' for me I thought the sheer shockfactor/amusement that I am participating in any kind of sporting event might lead to a few pennies being donated.

Please don't feel any pressure at all to donate; just thought you may be interested to know how I will be spending next Wednesday eve.  If you feel like sending over just £2 for Cancer Research UK (a super cause) that would be amazing.  Some of the other girls are running too - Gems, Jo, Alex W-S... and lucky Boonie is my running partner!
