I entered the run ballot never thinking I’d actually be successful and well now, here we are and I need to get fit! I wasn’t going to fundraise at first, but I thought if I’m going to put myself through this it may as well be for a great cause!

1 in 5 of us will have a lung condition during our lifetime, yet the funding, research and support for people living with these conditions is not good enough. Unfortunately I’ve experienced this firsthand. That’s why I’m running for Asthma + Lung UK. 

They're the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound we can raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs. For example, £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UKs nurses to answer a call on their Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice.
