Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This August it will be 10 years since our beautiful daughter Evie died. She was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy aged just 7 months old and died aged 14 and a half months.

SMA is a devastating genetic disease causing muscular weakness, and in severe cases causes death in infancy. 1 in 40 people in the UK are carriers. SMA support UK helps fund research into developing treatment, and in making life easier for those affected.

The time we had with Evie was very precious, and  we were helped so much by the support of family, friends and SMA Support UK. Raising money is a way for us to say thank you. xxx
