Our Dad, Alec Smart died very peacefully on the 26th of June 2023 aged 85, after a 5 year, sometimes challenging, fight against PSP.

This rare disease that frankly needs more research to help uncover its mysteries, increase awareness and find a way to relieving symptoms and ideally an eventual cure.

Dad was a very strong man but even he succumbed to some of the awful effects of this disease.
