Story
**update - this is now a team event of epic proportions.. Following my injury everyone is coming together to help me finish this challenge and raise as much as we possibly can. Thank you, thank you, thank you for all your donations **
As many of you will be aware, my absolutely lovely, brave, inspirational and not forgetting super beautiful friend Gemma is now in Wheatfields hospice in Leeds receiving her end of life care following an incredibly tough battle with cancer.
The care given to her by Wheatfields has been incredible and made Gemma's very difficult journey that bit easier. Even helping her marry her soul mate at the hospice yesterday with only 3 days notice, making her one happy lady.
Wheatfields hospice are facing a very difficult time financially right now and need all the help we can give them to continue to help in the amazing way they do.
As a thank you to Wheatfields for giving Gemma just what she needed I have decided to undertake a challenge of doing a 5km jog every day in June.
For the super fit and healthy among us that may not seem much but believe me when I tell you my lockdown fitness levels are best described as sedentary and probs only did 5km in the whole of May rather than the 150km I aim to do in June!
Please, please give what you can no matter how small. Much appreciated ❤️
