Raising money for Marie Curie Penarth for Marie Curie because they were the shining light for my Mum!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page...it's a special place because this is where I get to share with you my heart felt appreciation for the care, laughter, love and support the amazing staff at Marie Curie Penarth gave to my Mum in her last few months.

She actually loved every minute of being there - she always wanted a bedside 'party', she had the best bed in the whole ward (obviously!) then moved to the penthouse room with sweeping views of Penarth - a place she dearly loved - in her last week. She woke up and went to sleep with views of the sea and was SO grateful.

This trek and all the fundraising activities to come are my family's way of saying THANK YOU to Marie Curie and to ensure this service continues to be available long into the future!
