Event: Great North Swim 2023, from 9 June 2023 to 11 June 2023
A team raising money for Bury Hospice will swim 1/2 mile on Lake Windermere as part of the the Great North Swim on June 10th.

Story

On Saturday 10th June a group of staff (including our CEO and her husband!), volunteers, supporters and one of the Hospice trustees are daring the cold water of Lake Windermere and entering into the Great North Swim. Each of us are challenging ourselves to swim mile in a bid to raise vital funds for Bury Hospice. We may not have a Rebecca Adlington, Sharon Davies, Ellie Simmonds or Michael Phelps on our team as yet but I can assure you each and every one of us entering the water will give it our best effort!
