Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In the year we mark seventy years since the end of the Second World War, myself and fifty odd Moat work colleagues are going to be doing a 45 mile walk over two days between Canterbury and Dartford to raise funds for Help for Heroes, a fantastic forces charity.

On a more personal note, after 2 and a half years of broken sleep thanks to my sleep dodging son Charlie, i have decided that a 30 mile walk, followed by a night of kipping down on the floor of a small village hall with a band of many complete strangers, then another early morning 15 mile trot, is worth it to finally get an uninterrupted night's sleep ! (snorers beware!!)

Please contribute what you can as we are trying to raise funds towards the "Help For Heroes Quick Reaction Fund". It is specifically to buy household equipment for injured servicemen and women, as well as their families, during the rehabilitation period.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
