Story
As you those of you who know me are well aware I have Leiomyosarcoma. Back in 2016 it started as a soft tissue sarcoma wrapped around a kidney and now is in my bones too. I know - how lucky am I!?!? As it has metastasised to my liver and lungs there is no longer a cure for me. I am undergoing palliative chemo treatment every 3 weeks and this is on going - no end date. As long as the chemo stops the tumours from growing - I’m winning.
I’m taking on a challenge to walk 100 miles in 30 days for the bone and soft tissue cancer charity Sarcoma UK.
I know this is a fundraising page - as much as I’d love to raise lots of money - I would honestly rather that you could do the walking with me - do you think you can take on the challenge too? It’s about raising awareness just as much as raising the money!
So - if I can do it - can you?
