After reading about some of the horrific child abuse cases during the Covid lockdown including the death of Arthur Labinjo-Hughes, I felt compelled to act and raise money for the NSPCC. As an educator it is important that we all work hard to safeguard children. As the country emerged from the pandemic child cruelty cases have jumped by 25% in a single year. It is so important that children are kept safe at home, on-line and in schools. I'll hopefully be running the 10K with two colleagues who also support and believe in the work of the NSPCC.
