Kidney Care UK is a charity very close to my heart  I’ve suffered from renal failure for almost 24 years after suffering pre eclampsia during pregnancy.  For the majority of that time I just buried my head in the sand until the prospect of transplant was becoming ever more real.  I stumbled across Kidney Card UK on Facebook and joined the group, the group has been an amazing support since, a place to air my fears or concerns with others who are going through similar.  Raising money for this charity is a small way I can say thank you.
