Thank you for supporting Plan International UK in their efforts to advance children’s rights and equality for girls all over the world , who are often suppressed by poverty, violence, exclusion and discrimination. And it’s girls who are most affected.

I can't believe I am actually do this crazy marathon thing, I love all things fitness but rarely run more than 10km.  Last year I was thinking about the things I would like to achieve in my 40th (shhhhh) year and for some bizarre reason London Marathon was up there!  Whilst fitness is my job, this is a real challenge for me. So here I am, honoured to have been chosen as part of the Plan International UK team.

When a good friend started working for Plan a few years ago, he sent an email introducing the work they do and it really resonated with me, especially having two young girls of my own.  We are fortunate to live in a very privileged bubble (especially in England) where it is all too easy to forget the plight of so many of the worlds innocent children.  

Please dig deep and help me raise heaps of money to help Plan International UK in their work to encourage and help children (especially girls) take an active role in finding solutions to their problems, realising their rights and finding their full potential.

For over 75 years they have been supporting children. They are active in over 70 countries. A little money goes a very long way and really can change lives;

school kits for 7 children to help them
continue their education after a
natural disaster.

£50 could run training sessions for
men and boys in Bangladesh to help
them end child marriage in their
communities.

£100 could send a girl in Sierra
Leone to school for a year.
