I am swimming in memory of Alex Reid a pupil in my tutor group at my school in Year 10 and 11.  Tragically, Alex died in June 2012 of sudden adult death syndrome aged 16. I am raising money for CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) a charity her family has supported. I am swimming because I love to swim and so did Alex.
