I have an amazing friend who battles with lupus everyday! 

She's an amazing mama, an army wife (so she's home alone quite a lot) and she works as a nurse for elderly and disabled people. 

Very recently she began to loose chunks of hair. This obviously was a huge knock to her confidence. Despite this she chopped it all off and slapped a smile on her face and carried on!! No matter what lupus has thrown at her she simply carries on! 

  I never knew hair loss was a symptom of lupus to be honest until I met lolly I didn't even know lupus existed!

So I'm shaving my head for lolly and for lupus UK to raise awareness of an illness that's not always visible
