Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My dear friends son Lex Strong was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma at the young age of 4 and fought the battle with courage and dignity but sadly he lost his fight in January 2013. I am in awe of his family and their strength and love. Through the last few months of Lex's short life he and his family found help in the form of Bluebell Wood Childrens Hospice near Sheffield who provided love, support and respite. I visited my friends at the hospice and was and still am in awe of the place - they give you their time, friendship and support through such hard times all with a smile on their faces. Nothing is too much.
I want to thank them in the only way I know how and honour the memory of Alexander Strong. The hospice is not Government funded and relies on peoples kind donations and volunteering their time. By fundraising for the hospice I hope that much needed resources can be used to help other children and their families who find themselves reaching out for the hospices care just like we all did. THANK YOU BLUEBELL WOOD HOSPICE xxxxx
