Sadly my wonderful father lost his battle to pancreatic cancer in March.  He was a kind and gentle soul, never complained and always put everyone before himself.  

A lover of food, wine, football, Coldplay and anything Barbour.  He was the best father I could ever ask for, my mentor, my best friend.  Each day I miss him more and more.

I have decided to raise money for St Gemmas hospice who looked after him in his final days.  Making sure he was pain free and comfortable.  All the staff were compassionate and kind, a wonderful charity that I’ll always be grateful for.

Throughout October I hope to run a minimum of 60km in memory of my dad.
